Melody

White oak cabinetry meets a dark work surface.

A timber-lined entry cuts into the dark street elevation.

A skylight brings light across the living room and kitchen.

Timber slats divide the spaces while keeping the view open.

Melody

Melody brings together changing ceiling heights, skylights and timber screens. The kitchen’s pale wood cabinetry and dark island establish a simple material palette that continues through the shared rooms. Slatted partitions define areas without closing off the views between them, while overhead light reaches across the living space. The interior finds variety in these shifts of enclosure and light, with each room remaining connected to the next.
